I'm a journalist with 15 years experience working in print and online. I covered every topic you can think of in my early days as a junior reporter, but for the last 10 years I've specialised in health and medical writing and editing for trade and consumer publications.
I ended up as a health reporter quite by accident, (I have a degree in English Literature), but I absolutely love it.
For five years, I was a writer and news editor with the GP publication Australian Doctor. Before striking out as a freelance writer, my last role was with the ABC (Australia's public broadcaster), where I was the senior producer for their digital health portal: ABC Health.
After nearly 15 years in Australia, I returned home to the UK in 2016. I'm based in South Oxfordshire with my husband and two children.
